You’re not “near the beach” or “a short walk to the beach.” You’re ON THE BEACH, beachfront, so close that within one minute of the front door, you can put your toes in the water or a chair in the sand. Enjoy the beach view from the couch in the living room, or the dining room table. There’s even a view of the water from the master bedroom window.

The Beach bedroom features a queen bed, a walk-in closet, access to the front deck and a private bath. The view from the Tree bedroom is just what you’d expect, exuding a feeling of sleeping in a treehouse. Another walk-in closet and private bath complete the Tree suite. The brightly decorated flower room features two single beds situated under colorful images of flowers and parrots.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a microwave and coffee maker plus a large pantry. The laundry room with a washer and dryer accommodates those who would enjoy an extended stay.

The Waveland beach stretches for miles in either direction and is family friendly with shallow water and calming waves. It’s perfect for kids to play, and adults to stroll and toast the sunset. Back at the house, the beach breeze makes the deck a comfortable place to relax and share a meal.

Just 5 minutes down the road is the thriving beach town of Bay St. Louis, where you’ll find beach bars, boutiques, galleries and a variety of dining options. Head the other way and you’ll find Buccaneer state park with its wave pool and water slides. If you’re feeling lucky, try the Silver Slipper casino.

Less than an hour from downtown New Orleans, Waveland is a great place for a weekend getaway, or a golf / shopping trip. Jump in the car after work and you’re on the beach before dark. Stay over Sunday evening and be back in the office early Monday morning. Or better yet, take advantage of the free Wi-Fi and work from your beach retreat.

You will share a driveway with the other home.
The larger family home is in front of the cottage but it does not interfere with your beachview from the porch.
