  • Koe hämmästyttävä vuoristomajoitus pakottamatta uhraamatta mukavuutta ja eleganssia. Tässä täysin varustetussa mökissä on kaikki kodin mukavuudet.

    Kun annat tämän kauniin 1000 hehtaarin suuruisen yhteisösi, sinut tervehdevät jokapäiväisillä puroilla, piknikalueella ja suurella leikkikent��llä, jotka kaikki ovat vieraillemme.

Simply the Best

Location was superb but you have to be willing to drive all those crazy switchbacks to arrive, but it is well worth all the jitters. House was so comfortable for four of us, cooking, enjoying the porch and fires daily to sit by. This was our second year and will return in 2024.

We would definitely stay here again.

The home is very nicely decorated. The views are fantastic, and we have stayed in the community for many years. We love Maggie Valley and escape the FL heat as often as possible. We decided to shorten our stay for several reasons. There are rats or mice chewing on wood in the ceiling. We heard them upstairs and near the fireplace. They should be removed before allowing the home to be rented.

We’ve stayed at this cabin and community before and knew we wanted to be in here. The elevation is approx 4,000 feet, the views are stunning, so peaceful, quiet, no noise or traffic... we decided to just hang out at the cabin the entire trip and made a few trips down to the playground so our kids could sled on the hills. It was perfect and cozy. Tom and the rental management team were very responsive and helpful before, during and after as well.

The house was clean, sheets and towels soft and kitchen had all the necessary items. Other reviews commented on the steep drive and it was true. But after the first time up and down it was no problem. We had no need to contact the manager as everything worked as expected. The location was perfect. We had easy access to both Asheville and Pigeon Forge. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Cabin

Our family had a wonderful time at this cabin. It was beautifully decorated and had a welcoming feel. There were comfortable couches, chairs, and beds. It was spacious so it had plenty of room for us to hang out The views from the deck were spectacular, and we spent many hours outside there. We loved our visit and would definitely visit again.

Beautiful log cabin in a peaceful setting…

We were 2 couples staying in this lovely log home. We had everything we could want, from ample places to sit and relax, gorgeous deck with stunning views, very well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, a cozy fireplace. The house was spotless. We appreciated the nightlights everywhere-very nice when you are staying in a home away from home.

Great views, loved Waynesville for shopping and people we meet were the best!! Make sure you have 4-wheel drive to get up the mountain, depending on where you are staying. We had a hard time going up when it was raining. One of our best vacations with my 5 sisters..

Property did not disappoint. Beautiful view and very comfortable. Private. Shuffleboard table was added bonus. We loved our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house, community, and area were great. The house is beautiful with a wonderful view. The house was stocked with supplies and amenities, including ping pong, table shuffleboard, and a fire pit. It was very clean upon arrival. The management company was very helpful pre-stay with answering questions. The house had everything you need for a great time away from home. The area was great and there are some good restaurants. We loved seeing the local waterfalls and being in the mountains. Just a few suggestions for the owners: (1) Get some window drapery for the upstairs master bedroom to keep the sun from coming in early in the morning; (2) provide more candles and/or flashlights as we had a power outage at night; and (3) raise the hot water temperature a bit.

Great View and Wonderful Neighborhood

The view was great from the windows and the deck. We really enjoyed the shuffleboard challenges on the rainy days. Comfortable beds and nice bathrooms.

We have rented with Smoky Mountain Retreat before and will again. This particular cabin was like we were guests in someone's well loved home. We only stayed for four nights but we enjoyed the cabin so much, we were reluctant to leave it! We had requested that firewood be delivered for our use and we kept the fireplace going the entire time. We highly recommend Smoky Mountain Retreat even over the other avenues one might use to explore vacation destinations.
