  • The Roaring Creek Mountain Home is a wonderful mountain retreat that's conveniently located just seven minutes away from Interstate 40. Nestled in the heart of lush forests, the home offers a serene creek that provides plenty of shade and tranquility. The drive up to the home is easy, and you'll find a variety of great food and shopping options in nearby Historical Downtown Waynesville, which is only ten minutes away.

    You can relax on the comfortable furniture of the covered porch, listening to the soothing sounds of the creek and watching the sun peeking through the trees. If you need to de-stress further, you can turn on the deck lights and soak in the hot tub. The creek is also perfect for a cozy fire pit gathering or a peaceful moment of reflection.

    Inside the home, you'll find all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Each of the three bedrooms is equipped with a 55-inch Smart TV with high-speed internet, while the living room features a 65-inch Smart TV. The master bedroom comes with a king bed, while the other two bedrooms have queen beds. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary appliances and utensils.

    If you feel like exploring, you can visit the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, or the Biltmore Estate and Winery in Asheville, all within 30 minutes of the Roaring Creek Mountain Home. For some outdoor adventure, you can go water rafting or tubing, or visit the nearby Cataloochee Ski Area and Cataloochee Valley, which offer stunning views of the surrounding wildlife and historic buildings. And if you're in the mood for some entertainment, the Harrah's Casino in Cherokee hosts live music events and offers a relaxing spa and delicious dining options.

    Please note that for the safety and protection of our property and our guests, there is a security camera facing near the front and rear entry doors, and one located by the garage. However, there are no cameras on the inside of the home or facing the hot tub area.

This was a wonderful stay! The beds were so comfortable and the home had many thoughtful amenities. The creek was also such a relaxing thing to watch and listen to when on the porch. Overall, a great place to stay!

The property was very beautiful. We loved the roaring Creek sounds while having your morning coffee. It was also nice to enjoy it in the hot tub. The inside decor and quality of the furniture was very top-notch and extremely comfortable. My family loved it so much and wouldn’t mind coming back for a second visit!

Accommodation were great. Beds comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor areas. The creek was the highlight! So peaceful. We all got to test the waters!We can not had one question and Carl’s responded quickly. I would definitely book this house again.

We enjoyed the place. It was clean however the firepitt by the Roaring creek faces the road so cars were a little annoying. The king bed was super loud and uncomfortable it was a spring mattress. The check out time of 10AM seemed unfair since we had to do things to get out that morning on time. And if I go to a hotel they give me an 11AM or 12PM checkout time especially for the price. All in all great time with our kids.

This property is exactly as described. The creek was magnificent, the sound was soothing and energizing at the same time. The house was very clean, comfortable and well supplied. The location is fairly isolated but close enough to shopping and local recreation, with easy access to main highways. We will highly recommend this property. Many thanks to Carl for his support and ease of communication.

This property is absolutely beautiful The creek was amazing listening to it during our stay was awesome! Our host was very responsive I had to ask several things while we were there and he would always answer right back. The host provides everything you need including coffee it was great! We would definitely stay here again thank you Carl!

The house was very nice! It was very clean, and we had everything we needed for our stay. However, our favorite part of the stay was the outdoor area. We spent most of the afternoons on the porch. My boys loved playing in the creek, and we enjoyed the peaceful setting. The hot tub on the deck was a great place to relax in the evenings. If we ever visit the area again, we would not hesitate in staying here! Highly recommend!

Wonderful for our ski trip. Everything is as advertised and the host left clear instructions for all amenities. Also, transparent pricing without a ridiculous fee or excessive checkout routine. We will definitely stay here again for our next ski trip.

This beautiful property is aptly named: “Roaring Creek”. Gorgeous creek with a nice patio next to the creek. Description is very accurate. Clean, well stocked and easy to understand instructions. Great location for exploring quaint nearby towns of Waynesville, Sylva, Dillsboro, Cherokee and Bryson City. Great Smoky Mountain National Park is close by as well as the Blueridge Parkway. Asheville is close by, too. The rain changed some of our outdoor plans but we watched movies, played games and listened to the creek. Very enjoyable and comfortable weekend.
