”I just wanted to get away from everything with my kids near a River we could play in. I wanted to be able to cook and relax. We felt so at home here. There was nobody in the other cabins on the street. It was clean, and the fire pit was great! My boys could go up and down the hill easily. ”Went for a quick family trip at the end of basketball season to try and squeeze in a ski/board trip. Elk River made check in super easy and even made it possible for us to check in early. The cabin had everything we needed for our trip and Ellie Mays restaurant was awesome. For those that like sweet tea, there’s was on another level. The grounds itself had a lot to offer and my daughter and I did some exploring 2 of the days we were there.”

”My family enjoyed the stay. The first bed room is very good size. The 2nd one is bit small, no closet. It is very clean. We stayed there comfortably. It may need few more pieces of eating utensils. We stayed the first week of March. The snow was melting. It was good to have a swimming pool and hot tub.”

”Beautifully built cabin with knotty pine walls throughout. We had some very cold nights, but the propane heater kept the entire cabin toasty warm. Be sure to keep the living room fan on to circulate the heat. We were disappointed in the bed. It was low to the ground and made loud noises when turning or getting up. The bath mat in the shower needed replacing as it was moldy. Be sure to take bottled water unless you like brown water with iron in it. The driving sight-seeing around it is fantastic....
