Large fully-furnished family home nestled in beautiful elk country.

Whether you are escaping to see our majestic elk or planning a fun-filled family vacation in the PA great outdoors, Walnut Acres has everything you need and more. Situated on 4+ acres of land, our home comfortably accommodates up to 10 people. With four bedrooms (queen beds - linens included) and two full baths (towels provided), we give you all the comforts of home. Additionally, our open-flow concept home boasts a fully-equipped kitchen, family room with a large sectional, big screen TV, Free WIFI access, and an inviting dining area.

Start your morning with coffee on the large covered porch or escape with your favorite book to our cozy second-level screened-in porch. After a full day of activities, grab your marshmallows and head to our outdoor patio and large fire pit for some family fun.

Second home on property for additional guest accommodations - please inquire.

Walnut Acres allows easy access to The Elk Country Visitor Center, elk viewing areas and all of the glory of the PA Great Outdoors. Walnut Acres is within a few minute drive of gas stations, pharmacy, convenience store, dollar store, bars and restaurants.

This was the 2nd time my three friends and I stayed here for an annual HS reunion of sorts. As with last year, we had a good time! The bedrooms are nice with a little room to move about. The house was clean. We did plenty of cooking in the kitchen, too. There were no issues so there was no need to reach out to the host during our stay. My only criticism would be the cooking pans could be better, but we made do. There's a good chance we'll try for this place again next year!

My family stayed at the house for Thanksgiving. It was the perfect place for us. The house fit us all well, and worked out well in general. The view out the large windows in front were great, the beds are some of the most comfortable considering the house is a VRBO rental. They are fantastic. Just need some sharper knives for cooking and cutting, but then we made our Thanksgiving dinner there, so we had different needs than normally. Definitely a house to consider.

This house was perfect for our group of 8, visiting Elk Country! The Host was very accommodating and quickly responded to any questions we had. The home was very clean, roomy and stocked. All the bedrooms were large, and the beds were nice and comfy. The bathrooms were roomy and the walk in showers were perfect, and the water pressure was just right! Although we didn’t get to use the porch or firepit area, they both looked great!! We would definitely book this house again!

Most AMAZING place ever!! We have been here before and we will always come back. The place is well stocked, clean, private, has everything and close to the Elk visitor center. The fire pit and outside place is great for all ages and the beds are so comfortable. The host, Dan, is always on top of everything. communication with him is the best. Everyone should stay here!!!

We made our first visit to Elk Count on Thanksgiving and were fortunate to see elk up close deapite the cold weather. Our stay at the property was just what we wanted — spacious, clean, convenient, well-furnished, affordavle, and easy. We will return.

Great weekend get away!

This was a great house to stay for the group I had. In a very nice and quiet area that wasn’t far from everywhere we wanted to go! Dan was an amazing host always answering our questions within minutes! Already talking about planning a trip for next year!
