”We had lovely 2 nights stay at ubuntu by lantern hotel. The place is just a heaven and staff extremly helpful. Good breakfast and lunch. Modern rooms. Best hotel during our 2,5 weeks trip. ”
”Great service and a nice pool area. This is a very nice, quiet hotel and is well suited for couples who want to relax with each other. Breakfast is fine but other food is not very good. The massage was also not very professional and can not be recommended. Otherwise I can recommend this hotel.”

”Wonderful setting. We stayed in 'Pepper Cottage' and felt like we were in the jungle - but in a safe way. Best massages we had in Sri Lanka. Also the best breakfast - it was just so beautifully prepared.
Location is set back off a main road - which you cannot hear - but this meant it was easy to walk to nearby restaurants.”
”We were greeted with a delicious welcome juice and a cold towel. Check in was speedy, bags were promptly delivered to our room and the room itself was spacious, cool and with a nice view. The hotel provides towels for the beach as well as the pool and the breakfast was a good spread with an egg station. All staff were friendly and calm. Coconut tree hill is a very short walk and mirissa beach was 200lrk in a tuk tuk but was also walkable. Would definitely stay again”
”Very very Clean. The Boys are very helpful. The property was well kept and its like ur at home. I would highly recommend this place. I only stay 1 night so i was not able to enjoy all the facility. I would go back again. Breakfast was really good. ”

”We stayed for three nights with our 1 year old baby. The staff are excellent, so welcoming, and attentive and really enjoyed playing with our son. We had a sea view room, the view is beautiful, and the bathroom and shower were excellent - you can see the sea from the shower! The staff provided a lovely wooden cot which was perfect for our son. The cot fit next to the bed and the bed’s mosquito net covered the cot. Breakfast was lovely, and the staff were very accommodating of our child’s needs....
”Staff/owners are lovely and so helpful. Parked our tuktuk at the bottom of the short path (2mins to the hotel from tuktuk) Wifi great. We upgraded during our stay as we was originally in a double room with no AC. It was far too small and hot. So we then paid to move upstairs. The room had AC and was bigger for our cases. Area is fine. Food and beach nerby. ”

It was flowers on the bed for my girlfriends birthday. Then we asked if we could have one more breakfast as we were still hungry as compensation for not having power for the day and then they said no, which wasnt a big deal. Just thought they may do that. The serving staff were very nice.”
