”Great service and a nice pool area. This is a very nice, quiet hotel and is well suited for couples who want to relax with each other. Breakfast is fine but other food is not very good. The massage was also not very professional and can not be recommended. Otherwise I can recommend this hotel.”

”Absolutely fabulous hotel , by far the nicest and cleanest hotel during our 14 night stay in Sri Lanka . Would love to have stayed longer”

”Somerset hotel is situated on top of a hill, so you might want take it under consideration if you have trouble moving. The hotel itself was really nice and have beautiful view to the jungle behind it. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Beach is pretty close by, 5-10min by foot. WiFi was bad and restaurant only served breakfast so you do have to get out pretty often.”

”Pool ok”

”We were disappointed with Sandy Bliss. We booked a Superior Double with a King bed and Sea Views - our room was an obstructed/partial sea view, but mostly street view with significant street noise. (photo). The hotel is set behind another building, so few rooms will have unobstructed views as advertised. I requested to move to a sea view room but was told this was the room I booked, despite the clear discrepancy between listing and reality. They eventually offered a room with a better sea view...

”This house is virtually a step away from the sea and it feels like you have your very own small, private beach. A bit far from the town for bars and restaurants but a good small local restaurant two minutes walk away. Breakfast provided, by a woman that comes to the house and uses the kitchen. Great in one sense but if you really like your privacy note that she does hang around each day for about 3 hours doing cleaning etc.. Overall if you like privacy and seclusion right on the beach, this...

”We stayed around a week with a family (a kid and partner). The location is excellent, slightly elevated above the main road, which means there is no traffic noise. The beach is within easy walking distance. The balcony is spacious and offers an amazing ocean view. Parking space is available if you have vehicle. The swimming pool is located at the back of the property and opens into a forest‑like setting, filled with nature and the sound of singing birds. The property also has a pleasant on‑site...
