”A friendly fellow behind the desk, gave useful tips about the city and the traffic. The location was very good for us coming from the north in the evening and getting on the ferry to the South island the following morning (right by the highway, next exit to the ferry).”

”The property is clean but needs lots more TLC. The bathroom looks quite new and the kitchen was in good condition also. Having a hot plate and cooking equipment was nice but would have liked a table and chairs to sit at to eat. The front door was old, draughty and generally very flimsy and not secure. There is no noise insultion, so you can hear your neighbours quite clearly. Its one of 3 motels on the road and you have to collect keys at a different location. Not a place I would recommend.”

”We only stayed for one night but we found the staff to be very good. They were very communicative, even allowing us to drop our bags and jetting off to an event. They allowed a late checkout which was very nice of them. If you’re visiting Wellington and just need a good base, the Adelaide motel is conveniently located close to the city centre and the rooms are good nice enough to be put all day and just rest up ”
