  • Kaunis mukautetun kotiin Wells, ME; upeat näkymät Rachel Carson Reserve, alle 5 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä Moody Beach (hieman yli 250 askelta). Täysin uusittu: refinished parketit, holvikatot, altistuvat tiili, 2500 + neliön lukien 4 makuuhuonetta, 2. 5 kylpyhuonetta, iso ja perheystävällinen "suuri huone", useita oleskelutila n (sisä-out), uusi tilava keittiö graniittitasoilla, ruostumaton teräs laitteet, aamiaisbaarilla, istumapaikat 12. The house was clean and had great living spaces. The proximity to the beach was wonderful. I was pleased with communication with the the owner orior to and throughout our stay.

Great house, great location

Amazing location just a 2 minute walk to the beach. House had plenty of space, inside and out. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful!

The Good Life is spacious, unique and has a great location! My family with 6 adults and two children stayed here for a week and enjoyed this house immensely! There was plenty of room to spread out, the kitchen is great and plenty of room to relax. A quick easy walk to the beach made this especially wonderful. There is ample parking and a nice back yard. A great place to vacation!

Short walk to the beach

This property’s appeal is the short walk to the beach. The other accommodations were lacking. The listing does not clearly indicate that towels and linens are not provided. Although it looked clean on the surface, the floors we’re not adequately swept and there was sand all over dark bathroom rug in the first floor bathroom. The beds were creaky and not comfortable. There was only one roll (not full) of toilet paper in each bathroom, no paper towels and only 4 kitchen towels that we needed to wash and put away before leaving. On the other hand, the property owner was responsive.

Nice property, mosquitoes were a bit of a nuisance and house was warm for a few days, without any AC.

Nice Place

Vraiment belle propriété, la douche extérieur est très apprécié. Nous avons passé un très beau moment avec ma famille. Il y magasin de surf très près. Wheels and waves. La plage, moody beach est vraiment très jolie et intime. Il faut noter que cest une plage privé et que certain résident nous on demander de nous déplacer lorsque la marré est haute, ce que nous avons fait. La propriétaire répond rapidement et est très polie. Un endroit que je recommande.

Very satisfied with property and location

The property was very spacious and comfortable for our two families to share. Very close to moody beach and restaurants, stores, bike rentals, pretty much anything you would want to enjoy a family vacation. We would definitely stay there again!!

Family-sized retreat minutes from the beach!

This was our first summer here and it was everything we hoped for! Tastefully decorated rooms, especially the MBR with it's own deck, sleek and modern kitchen, and plenty of space for the kids to romp! Even the outside shower was an upgrade. Don't miss reading the "before and after" book that chronicled the entire renovation. Amazing!

Great vacation home

Beautiful and recently renovated home with short walk to Moody Beach. It was a great place to vacation with our family and the home was very clean and many comfortable spaces to gather. Allison was great to deal with and very prompt to reply to emails or questions. I would definitely recommend this rental to others and would also like to return here when we return to Maine for a family vacation. Many good restaurants near by including Scoop Deck and the Lobster Pound for lobster to go! Definitely a place to enjoy the "Good Life".

Dream vacation on Moody Beach

This vacation home was perfect for us and our extended family. The location cannot be beat, within 2 minute walk to Moody beach. The house was clean, which is the most important thing to us. Plenty of space for our extended family, with relatives visiting from Boston and Montréal. We would return there for all of our future Maine vacations. I didn't give the 5th stars simply because we would have loved to have a place for the whole gang to eat outside in the backyard. There is a table and chairs outside on the second floor porch, but while it's great for star gazing, it's not convenient for outdoor dining. And we would also have loved a firepit... We loved it. It was an amazing vacation and I recommend this property. The owner, Allison, was easy to communicate with and responsive. Nothing negative to signal.

Great location, just a short stroll to the beach! Family Room & kitchen to accomodate all guests.

This was a great house and location for our family's vacation. Grocery store (and let's not forget the Scoop Deck) is easily accessible using back roads, enabling one to stay off the main road and away from traffic. Great area for riding bikes, walking, kayaking and let's not forget the beach! Allison was very quick to respond to the one maintenance problem that arose (an issue that was out of their control) and immediately took action, getting the issue resolved within a couple hours. The kitchen has room enough for all house guests to enjoy each other's company and the 2nd floor family room was a great gathering space. The surrounding area is quiet and the front porch was a great place to enjoy the cooler morning air.

Superbe semaine à la mer

Merveilleuse semaine à la mer avec notre grande famille. Maison très grande et très confortable, très joliment décorée, très bien équipée. Nous nous sentions presque chez nous. Plage à proximité, environnement sécuritaire. ...Et Pokemon à attraper à l'extérieur...tout pour être heureux.

Our "The Good Life" Vacation!!

We really loved this vacation home!! It was extremely comfortable, spacious and well-equipped in the kitchen with everything you could possibly need. The home is beautifully decorated and it's just steps to beautiful Moody Beach. We certainly enjoyed our stay and I would recommend "The Good Life" to anyone looking for a great place to spend their next family vacation!! Donna Crawford
