1. The Swan Hotel Wells

Wells

”This was our first time in Wells and The Swan Hotel and it won’t be our last. All of the staff made us feel welcome and our room was very comfortable (especially the warm bathroom). We were only staying one night and only had the chance to sample the breakfast but the ambience and quality of food was excellent. As family live nearby we’ve been told the Sunday roast is worth another visit and as the hotel is central to everything, we will definitely be back.”

None of the bedside lights worked. Only one bulb worked in the main room. There was a small window without a curtain, anyone passing by could look in and clearly see anyone who happens to be sitting or lying in bed. The bathroom was okay , although noted cracked...

”Lovely spacious, clean & comfortable apartment in excellent location few minutes walk to Wells & shops. Good place to stay for exploring other attractions around the area, Cheddar Gorge, Haynes Motor Museum, Bath, etc. I would highly recommend especially for a couple. Not suitable for wheelchair bound or those who have difficulty with stairs as it is situated on the fourth floor with four flights of stairs to climb.”
