”Everything about the Hawthorne is the epitome of old world class. There is simply not a single thing or person we could find fault with. The room was large, comfortable and had a quiet undertone of luxury without any need for extras. The food was, exceptional. The staff were without a doubt the most pleasant, warm, competent and overtly helpful I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. ”My husband and I were in the area for a surgery and because of a reservation mishap at a different hotel we found ourselves having to make a same day reservation at Candlewood. Doug and the rest of the staff made our arrival and check in a breeze, they were even able to accommodate our special requests. The only odd things about this hotel is that it’s built a bit awkwardly with a split entrance way that made things feel cramped leading to the front desk. Also the one ice machine in the hotel...
