”Perfect weekend stay in the most epic, quaint hotel with a very premium, delicious breakfast. We stayed in the Sea glimpse suite as we are a family of 5 and the room size surpassed expectations. The personalized service from the manager was also phenomenal, and walking distance to the cliffs made it the perfect stay. ”

”Had a wonderful stay in the refurbished hotel. Had the most comfortable nights sleep, so much so that we are looking to buy the mattresses they use. The comfy double was just what we needed. The bathroom didn't look to be refurbished but was fine as it was apart from a leaky shower hose. We were supplied with plenty of drinks to choose from and 2 packets of biscuits. ”We checked in on a rainy Sunday afternoon. The feeling of comfort when we stepped into the Royal Lion and how we were welcomed made our day. Awesome hotel in a quaint seaside town! Rooms came as advertised. Would recommend staying at the Royal Lion if you are planning on going to or through Lyme-Regis. Try stay a Sunday night as the roast beef dinner was devine!”

”A excellent stay at Bridport , on arrival we were greeted by Emily who was friendly, helpful and efficient. Lunch and dinner were both very good, again Emily was our dinner server and made the experience very enjoyable. Our room was warm and comfortable although we found the pillows to be a bit hard , this of course is a personal thing. Breakfast was very good and the servers were again polite and helpful. Your staff are a credit to the hotel, an enjoyable stay and hopefully not our last....
