”Felt like it was false advertisement. Was not at all what I expected. Place was old, furniture was from the 80s and showed it. Is not a family motel. Breakfast was toast, english muffins, or bagels wrapped in plastic wrap, with either butter or jam no cream cheese. We had to go to Safe Way to buy cream cheese. Will say the shower head is amazing, loved the shower.”

”We had a very comfortable and clean queen room on the waterside. It was so nice to open the balcony door and listen to the waves on the incoming tide. The hotel was very quiet and the staff folks who greeted us were excellent hosts. We didn't have a chance to check out the two restaurants just across the street but the motel is within easy walking distance of the Blue Moose Cafe and the Co=op grocery.”

”This hotel has very little going for it. The room is substandard. It was clean (except for one sticky table), but old furniture can only get so clean. One chair was horribly stained. The property is substandard. The restaurant had a great hamburger. Check in took a long time because the person in charge at the bar was outside making a phone call. (You check in at the bar). Won't go there again”

”The place was a lovely historic castle, very beautiful and nicely restored. The room was a bit small but really nice, the bathroom was huge and looked brand new. If you want to stay in an interesting place with history and a lot of character, this is the place - if you don't mind that there is no restaurant or other services on site at this time and it is some distance from the town center. I so want this place to succeed, but it seems there are not enough visitors to keep up all services and...

”We book here because they had a cafe’. The cafe’ was closed. No staff available while we were there. No AC, the screen door was broken. No closet, just a coat rack. Hangers would have been helpful. The bed needed a new mattress. Very small TV. Overgrown vegetation. This place could be a gem, but it needs attention. On a scale of 1-10. I give a 3”

”This is a self-help apartment. It was very expensive. We were afforded no early check in, even though we far in advance notified them that we had a complicated situation. As a result, because we were at an event, could only check in late. Check out is at 10AM, which is an obnoxious, creeping habit of hotels and air b and b's. It does not take six hours to clean a unit. Also, the stay requires a download of an app, but we did not receive check in information (just an email with a broken link) so...

”It’s called the Belmont Hotel on all the travel sites but when you get there, they say through the phone that it’s called Vacasa. This hotel is not open when you peek inside the windows of the hotel and front desk and no one around to assist. We had numerous calls trying to get someone to help us and everyone informed us they couldn’t help us until 4 o’clock when we could use a code that would be emailed to us privately to get into the hotel. Then we would need additional codes to get into a...
