”This is a Hotel from the early 20th century. It has wonderful character. It doesn't have AC but does not really need it due to being up in the mountains at about 3500 ft. a room fan and open window was more than adequate. We had small issue with a smoke detector battery getting low and the detector started chirping at 4 in the moring. They don't have over night staff so it was fixed in the morning while we were out and fixed by noon. They do have a weekend breakfast that was very good. ...

”It was clean. It was well located within the city even if it is beside the highway. It is incredibly noisy and after being woken up multiple times despite exhaustion, a sound machine, and a second ambient noise machine, I asked to be moved and considered myself lucky to be moved to the other side of the building on a low floor. I really should have just left. There is no elevator, no laundry, no coffee machine in the room. Items were not necessarily cleaned and I found old fruit in a bowl left...

”Hotel on the directory of Historic places, and so this is not one of the modern hotels along the road. However, the room was clean, bed comfortable, friendly and helpful staff and stunning views of the lake. Very relaxed vibe made for a special nights visit.”

”Facility is old but serious efforts have been made to update. New dropped ceilings, fairly new furnishings, new paint, quaint etc. Very clean and comfortable. I had very limited contact with staff, but that was pleasant. There was some road noise but not terrible. Spacious parking was at the room entry. Some of the room photos are misleading. Be sure to designate whether you was street front or creek side. Also be prepared for a 3% credit card charge. The most serious negative was the high step...

”The room was very clean. The front desk staff person, however, was extremely rude. The checkin was right at 4:00, even though they were not full and rooms were available sooner. When I asked about waiting on the property until the room was ready, the front desk staff person told me I couldn't do that because I wasn't a registered guest. Then she added, "and you can go into the pool area." I wasn't going to the pool anyway.”
