”The Hotel was fine and the evening meal was excellent the only let down was the fact that the hotel has stopped serving breakfasts and also the windows from my room could do with a good cleaning.”

”Very clean, excellent breakfast and the host was very friendly and helpful. ”

”It was a pleasure to stay the night at the Town House, really lovely people and a bonus to chat over breakfast with another guest. A cosy, homely feel and definitely somewhere we'll book again”

”A lovely b&b. Absolutely perfect for us. Would recommend anyone.”

”The hotel was really a hostel and did not match up with images on their website. We were expecting to be staying in a country house hotel not a youth hostel. The only facility we had was wifi. The room was clean but very basic with no ability to make ourselves a tea or coffee without walking down two flights of very steep steps to the kitchen which was a health and safety nightmare - no idea why they could not have put a tea/ coffee station on the top floor. There was no television...

”This is an olde worlde farm house displaying much of the history of the family who have lived here for 6 generations. We were looked after very well by Sam who cooked a great tradition British Breakfast. The room was clean and welcoming. To park the car on site you negotiate amongst the geese , ducks and chickens who provide the eggs for breakfast. We loved the place and will stay there on our next visit to the area.”

”Really friendly local pub, all staff friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Nice quiet area. The food was really good and the beds comfortable. Will definitely stay again next time we're in the area.”

”Ikke hotellstandard men helt greit for en overnatting. Eldre innredning, veldig lite bad og ekstra harde senger trekker litt ned. Gateparkering. Ikke heis. Fin tradisjonell pub i underetasjen.”

”Nice old building but in need of repairs and updates, room wasn’t particularly clean, old windows with condensation and not be cleaned for a while ! Good breakfast, location not bad but a killer of a hill to get back up at night, was ok as a base but if looking for a special occasion I’d look elsewhere”

”Great stay at a great pub with good well priced food, room clean and well maintained. Only problems, finding somewhere to eat Monday night and as a business traveller would have like breakfast to be served a little earlier. Although the breakfast tray was good.”

”Viehättävä, kauniisti sisustettu B&B, aamiainen oli mahtava! Auton sai kätevästi pihalle (tai kadulle) parkkiin. Kävelyetäisyydellä kiva pubi, jossa kävimme syömässä. Emäntä oli superystävällinen. Huone tilava ja siisti. Wifi toimi, sängyissä nukkui hyvin.”

”Camera pulita, letti comodi, personale molto alla mano e gentile. Buona colazione”

”I enjoyed my stay very much. The host was friendly, the bed comfortable and the surroundings nice and quiet. Also, the breakfast was delicious.”

”On arrival the reception was awful with staff unable to access records but their attitude was very off hand towards us. The room was clean but badly set up. For instance, the double bed was only accessible from one side; there was nowhere for storage of cases etc. and the only area to hang clothes was a row of five hooks, three of which overhung the box on which the kettle and cups etc. were kept; the shower cubicle was missing one of its two doors; the sink in the toilet was so restricted by a...

”Pleasant stay in a lovely location. Owner had Very enthusiastic dogs which is great if you’re a dog lover but not really our thing.”
