Beautiful backdrop!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will want to come again! Beds were comfy, hot tub was clean, and you really can’t beat the views!! I would suggest bringing grippy socks or house slippers bc the floors are kind of slick.

Had a fantastic experience! From ease of check-in to beautiful views, fun activities and comfy beds - it was a great getaway. Bluff Mountain Retreat was perfect for our party of 7 (that included 3 boys age 13). The accommodations included everything we needed and more. The hot tub was relaxing and game room was entertaining. Even though it was a little chilly and rainy, we opted for an afternoon of Monopoly (from the game room). Love this rental property and West Jefferson! Can’t wait to go back!

Peaceful and relaxing

5 of us stayed for our annual girls’ trip. We loved sitting out on the balcony, used the hot tub, visited downtown and a nearby winery (highly recommend!) and hiked the Grayson highlands and saw the wild ponies.

Beautiful Views and Close to Town!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The views from the deck were beautiful especially as we traveled during peak foliage. Beds were very comfortable and my kids loved the throw blankets all over the house. Unfortunately we forgot our suits so couldn’t take advantage of the hot tub :( only suggestion would be to add a Keurig brought some kcups with us but couldn’t use, luckily Talia Espresso saved the mornings - highly recommend for a cup of morning joe when you’re in West Jefferson. Had less than stellar service from Booneshine Restaurant and New River Brewing Ale House but would recommend Just Wing It!

Nice house. No communication from rental agency …. Had to call them on day of check in. Place was clean and exactly as listed. Bathroom on first floor needs to be repaired but other than that great place.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay at Bluff Mtn retreat. The property had not been thoroughly cleaned, but upon calling the property manager they resolved the issue. The house was nice and accommodated our party of 9. It is a pet friendly home so there was lots of pet hair, which is to be expected. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Mountain Thanksgiving with family

The home was cozy and had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfy and they had plenty of blankets. It had everything that was on the listing. The only negative was that we arrived at check in time which was 4:00 and they would not give us the code to get in because the cleaning lady was not finished and she was not even there. They finally agreed to give us the code and she came about 5 minutes later. She was pretty friendly.

5 Day Fall Vacation with Fur Babies

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Bluff Mountain Retreat is a Wonderful Vacation Rental. It was Clean, Very Comfortable, and Roomy. My Husband and I were able to stay on the Main Level with our 2 Four-Legged Fur Babies (our 2 dogs - Toy Maltese and Shorkipoo). Bluff Mountain Retreat has Wonderful Views from the Big Front Porch and the Back of Home. Bluff Mountain Retreat is in a Very Nice Subdivision. This Rental is within minutes to West Jefferson & Jefferson, and 25 to 30 minutes to Boone. Lots of Wonderful Restaurants to Eat at and Lot of Shops for Shopping within minutes. The Old Barn Winery was also within Minutes. The Kitchen was well equipped to cook a meal there at the house. This Home and views are just as pictured, the Den has a lot of seating and Spacious. The Master Bedroom on Main Level is Spacious and has a King size bed. We have been Renting from Carolina Mountain Properties for quite a while now. Their Rentals are Clean, everyone at the Office is so Nice, Professional, and more than Happy to assist you when needed. We Highly Recommend Renting from Carolina Mountain Properties. We will be renting again in the near future.
