”This is an absolutely beautiful, luxurious accommodation. We stayed in room 1, the spacious two bedroom apartment upstairs. With a large, airy, open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, every room was immaculate, beautifully appointed and well-equipped with everything you might need for a very comfortable stay. A gorgeous ocean view, a large balcony deck for enjoying the views, and very lovely, gracious hosts. If you're coming to NW Tassie, this is a very fine place to stay. Highly recommended.”

”We had one night in the Devonport area after coming off the Spirit of Tasmania, and the Red Door was a wonderful place to stay. Beth's communication before our visit was prompt and helpful, and we appreciated her restaurant recommendation. We also really appreciated being welcomed to check in early since the cottage booking schedule allowed for that. Breakfast was very nice--just what we'd requested.Definitely recommend the Red Door!”

”The property was difficult to find but once it was, it was good. The main front door had no lock. It had clearly been kicked in prior to me checking in as it was split through the door mechanism. However, the screen door did lock. There was still a feeling of insecurity though. Otherwise, the bedroom, kitchen and lounge were all clean. I enjoyed my stay. Thank you”

The heat pump kept the lounge, kitchen & dining room very warm but as it is an older style house with a long hallway the bedrooms were very cold. The heater supplied in the main bedroom was very ineffective & the heater in the 2nd bedroom wasn't working. We had a small dog & the property was fully fenced but the back lawn was very long.”
