”Definitely not IHG standards. The ice machine is broken on the 2nd floor, there are no vending machines, there was a dirty rag in our shower, Shampoo instead of hand soap by the sink, and a broken tv remote. This felt like a cheap motel stay.”

”The outside of the hotel and lobby were decently nice. However, my room was atrocious. The top lock had been ripped off, the door to the adjoining room didn’t lock and they had pushed a desk against it. Shower was covered in scum, dust and grime on doors and floor. Stuff on the floor, stained sheets. I told the staff I couldn’t not stay here for the duration. They did offer another room or to make sure that no one stayed in the adjoining room….. but at that point, as a single woman, traveling...

”I wanted to stay the night to break up a long drive, and we got in late. I was given the wrong room layout from what I reserved (1 bed instead of 2), and when they realized their mistake, then called me back to the main lobby and gave me another room that was already occupied. The building is in disrepair, with broken exterior doors that do not shut, broken interior glass, broken safety room locks, and evidence of severe water damage and white mold. The property did not refund my reservation...

”I've stayed in lots of motels over the years, and this was the most disappointing of them all. The room and bed were malodorous, the furniture stained, the fixtures shabby and in poor repair, the tub was grungy and rust stained, and the toilet flush was weak, clogging twice in one overnight stay. But my biggest complaint is with management: we had booked a four night stay, but during the first night there we experienced a family emergency that meant we had to cut our stay in the area short.
