We arrived exhausted after a very long day of driving, only to be told our reserved king room had been given away due to overbooking. Instead, we were placed in a double queen room and told it was “more spacious,” which felt dismissive—we specifically booked a king for a reason.
The beds were extremely uncomfortable, and we both woke up in pain. The room temperature was set at 76°F when we arrived and took about an hour to cool down enough to be tolerable. To make matters worse, we were placed on the first floor and had to listen to a toilet running all night, making it difficult to get any rest.
The room itself was not well-maintained. There were visible stains on the couch, and the curtains did not properly block out light, making it even harder to sleep.
Breakfast didn’t improve the experience—the sausage was rubbery and unappetizing. Overall, the stay was frustrating and disappointing from start to finish. For $225, this felt like a complete waste of money. We will not be staying here again.
