”When my Wife and I were looking for a mini vacation, my first words were quiet with maybe a little fishing. If you like the sound of birds and the wind rushing through the trees, you have found your happy place. A most excellent choice for couples with perhaps a small family. We must have missed the whiporwhill season. I was hoping to hear them again. The fishing on Smith is always a gamble so prepare to catch a ton or none. The surroundings are top notch! Silence.....ahhhh!”

”there was some construction activity on other side of lake that was a bit intrusive of the peacefulness; the one bathroom is attached to master bedroom, so that guest had to walk through master to use the toilet. (minor inconvenience); eating options were at quite a distance, since the grille at the closest marina is closed M&T. I would recommend making this obvious in the listing, but the view was wonderful and I spent the day reading on the porch, which was very relaxing.”

”The property was awesome. The home was equipped with everything that we needed. The views were exceptional. The only draw back was we arrived late Friday night and had to go to a public boat launch since we were not able to take the boat to the property and trying to locate the property at night in the water was a little trying. But the host did provide pretty good directions from the boat launch. I would definitely use them again.”

”Well the VRBO website was down so check in was difficult and the owner was unavailable at the time we arrived. The cabin inside was clean but you should plan on bringing TP, paper towel and things like that. (There are stores nearby ) The control for the AC is not in the downstairs cabin where we stayed so we got hot at night and the porch facing the lake had not been swept or cleaned in awhile. The price and the location made up for the inconveniences so I’d definitely book again.”

”This is definitely the best place we have ever stayed. We stay here year after year and each time they do more and more updates. Our family loves the quiet dead end road, the game room is perfect for the kids and the large patio is a perfect place to enjoy the shaded view of the kids swimming. It’s not too many steps to the water and the boat dock is perfect for our boat. We have also caught tons of fish.”

”We gathered to celebrate my son’s 23rd birthday. We didn’t need 2 areas for cooking but having the extra space was nice. 3 refrigerators was a plus. It rained at some point on most days but had plenty of games or just chill and read a book. We used the paddle boards and played corn hole too. Wonderfully quiet place in a neighborhood with large lots.”
