”The cabin was amazing; very clean with everything we needed for our brief stay. A great re-model by the owners. Close to the Sipsey Wilderness/Bankhead National Forest where we enjoyed hiking. We fished off the dock at the cabin and enjoyed the beautiful view of Smith Lake, one of our favorite places to be. Near Chef Troy's Talk of the Town restaurant, very good food and service. ”We will always remember our trip to Smith Lake with our children and their fiancés. We were able to use the charcoal grill for several of our meals. We all enjoyed a trip in the canoe , some flipped over on purpose. The house was well supplied with extra's. There is plenty of seating outside the home for some relaxation. As a therapist, I was happy to see a ramp from the parking spot around the home to get into the cabin for some people that have trouble navigating steps. Beautiful...

”Beautiful, spacious home with amazing lake views! My family truly enjoyed our stay at Pittman Rock. The house was super clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed to make all meals, which was a plus considering not too many places DoorDash to the area. The only downside, in my opinion, is the steep driveway and gravel road leading to/from the property. Otherwise, everything was perfect!”
