”Had a great couple of days at this hotel. Staff friendly hotel, lovely with great rooms super doggy, friendly and great food. Only pity in the area is the beach adjacent to the hotel is not doggy friendly during the summer. Other than that fantastic couple of days They also run a fshuttle to the Hut restaurant, which is well worth a visit. ”

”The property is a period house and the owner Chris has kept it to that style, very clean with a excellent breakfast cooked to perfection by Chris with a wide and varied choice of food. Whitwell is a designated dark sky area with some very pretty houses lots of thatched roofs,the local pub is only a few minutes walk and well worth a visit,the food is excellent. I would definitely recommend a stay at Kingsmede ,it fulfilled all my wife and I hopes”

”We stayed for ole night in apartment side of this hotel. The room was nicely equipped and clean, but for a northern european romantically in a very british way, a bit shabby. A++++ for the staff, they were super helpful and friendly. Situated very close to the magnificent beach, but far from supermarkets, and public transport. We were on the third so we had some steps to use and drag the chair up. An access ramp is at the side of the building but, if you cannot do stairs, you have to wheel through the outside bar patio in the front, into the back of the bar, through the restaurant and out into the lobby.
