”From the pictures on the site, it indicated that toileries would be provided. But there was none to be seen. Initially had problems getting into my room, because the no. received was incorrect. Contacted the Office and this was corrected immediately. The no.19a bus goes to the 'Shirley' area, just ask the driver to put you off at the Howard Road bus stop. Take the 1st left and you are on Howard Road and the Guest House is on the right. The full address of your premises needs to include...

”It was the mansion was amazing place to stay and we also had a little area to walk to that had a bar a store and a few other places. I cannot say enough about the staff the gentleman that seemed to be over the dining room, and the bar was absolutely amazing. The ladies at the lobby desk, where the friendliest and tried every way to accommodate us with our stay.. amazing place and an amazing!!”

"Definately good hotel, maybe not quite living up five star status. Our third hotel stay during the same week, so it is easy to compare with other being four stars. The staff are doing their best, but glitches in new room cards and reception procedures left a sour taste. The place at the shore is nice, alltough part of the view is blocked by harbour warehouses. It is a bit far from the city centre by walking. The bar at the top has a nice view, but is noisy. All in all good experience, but not exceptionel."
