”It's far easier to talk about the negatives points of Shorecroft....nothing! We've stayed in holiday cottages for years and Shorecroft is by far the most outstanding. The location and views are simply stunning, Shorcroft itself is fabulous and oozes quality, from the beds and bedding through to the kitchen utensils, literally everything has been thought about and executed to perfection. There was even smoked salmon and Champagne awaiting our arrival. We definitely hope to return, thank you.”

”Very comfy and cosy house, it’s in a small village which isn’t clear but has a lovely back and front garden. Just a quick walk to the amazing beach The road I thought might be busy with 500 ers but they had to drive slowly so wasn’t noisy. Bring a sharp knife!”

”Very nice high spec hotel. Rooms have everything you could need. Hotel has a drying room which is handy on a wet day. Great view of the bay. Staff very nice and helpful. Negatives: very limited food menu, nothing for vegans. Seems very overpriced compared to similar hotels in the highlands. ”

”This is an out of the way very quiet spot on a loch. Beautiful setting very quiet. Nothing else around for several miles but there’s nothing else needed. Everything was great. Very pleasant owners. ”

”I really enjoyed my stay at The Balmacara Hotel! The staff is very nice and welcoming. The location is great for day trip over the Skye, as well as enjoying the views of the loch. The rooms were very nice and clean. I also had dinner and breakfast at the hotel which were fantastic as well!”
