”Desperate for accommodation during graduation week, I booked The Cottage Grove Inn—the only place with a vacancy. I quickly learned why. While the hostess at check-in was perfectly friendly, she was the lone mask of civility on a house of horrors. ”This is my third stay at VRI. I love this place … clean, cozy, wonderful atmosphere, great food, and the best riverfront walking path on the west coast. My son attends U of O and we will stay here at every opportunity.”

”First, I had occasion to contact the property several times before our arrival and the staff could not have been nicer nor more pleasant to talk to and were very happy to accommodate my requests. Upon arrival, again the staff was beyond helpful and pleasant and went above and beyond to promise us coffee earlier than their normal set up time (we were out early fishing). ”The Riverpath in was so clean and homey! I usually don’t feel as rested or comfortable in hotels or other Airbnbs I’ve stayed at. But it felt like I was at home. I even got to chat with one of the owners and we had a great conversation. She was so sweet and helpful and you can tell she cares about the home and those who pass through it. If I’m ever up there again I will 100% come back to the Riverpath Inn.”

”This hotel is definitely not a hotel it is a motel with a lowercase m. It is covered in cobwebs that blocked door and required me to duck. The lamp was unplugged which required me to find lights in the pitch black. The furniture was either stained or ripped. The bathroom was really run down there was no tub stopper and you could see the copper discoloration of the pipe. There was no inner shower liner and the shower was so low that at 5’10 I had to squat the entire time. The towels were...

”Room wasn't clean. I spoke to the night clerk for 2 nights in the row about have bugs and mosquitoes in my room. One actual told me that I couldn't move at night because house keepers were not there to clean the room so they could rent it. Thry were more worried about my health and safety. Also room door was messed up”
