”The room was not serviced on two days out of four - the reason given was that the housekeeper did not work those days.
The restaurant was closed for evening meals at short notice.
The entrance door was closed and locked early in the evening and my keys did not work on occasions.”

”Our room was excellent very quiet with lovely comfortable bed, nice bed linen, towels and plenty of tea&coffee etc. Breakfast was delicious. We ate evening meals at the hotel which were homemade and great quality and reasonable price. New owners have taken over hotel just over 2 mths ago and we found them to be very friendly, welcoming and hard working. They're improving the hotel with new decor and have great attention to detail so I'm sure once finished it will be amazing. It's location is...

”Whilst my room was small, it had all I needed.
The highlight was the staff: reception and bar/restaurant staff were excellent. Polite, attentive, efficient.
Breakfast was very good with a wide choice.
The restaurant menu for dinner was ok but sometimes a wider simpler choice would have been nice.”
