”What a find! This beautiful hall is just perfect. Fabulous location with peacocks and lovely trails to walk in the extensive grounds. Our room had a super king bed and usual facilities. There is a spacious dining room and well stocked bar. You won't go away hungry as the food is excellent with generous portions. Very friendly and helpful staff. It's a must visit! ”

”Stayed 1 night for our wedding anniversary, food (fixed menu) was amazing with every course announced when served. Location is quiet and secluded even though it is off the main road (not very busy). We had a wonderful view of the mountains and lake. Will definitely go again.”

”It is a beautiful hotel and all the staff was fantastic!! The room was amazing! Fiona at the front desk went out of her way to welcome us. A perfect person to start our hotel stay. Very informative and welcoming! Our dinner and breakfast host Manjo (I probably have spelled his name wrong) was GREAT! ”During our round trip in Northern England and Scotland we stayed two nights in Keswick. We made a walk to the beautiful Catbells as well as visited the Castlerigg Stone Circle. The hotel was mostly ok for our purpose. However the shower practically did not work. It gave water which was either very cold or burning hot. Our flat was Chiamara. The bedroom and living room were too far from each other and the doors between were inconvenient with door pumps. The bed was good. Kitchen and living room...
