Residenssit – Western Lake District

”ideal location, friendly staff, clean room.”

”As a first time visitor to the Borrowdale Gates Hotel I have to say what a wonderful experience. The location was perfect with access to many hiking trails. The staff were pleasant and very attentive to our needs, the facilities including the restaurant were excellent, serving very high quality food. After spending several days at the Hotel I am convinced we will be returning. From two happy customers.”

”My wife and I had a fabulous 2 night stay. Our room was lovely, staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was first class. The bar was a lovely place to relax after a long day walking. We would definitely return for another visit. I have only one observation to feedback, and its minor. The decor in our bathroom was tired and needs looking at. The bathroom was clean and tidy, but paint work and fixtures were beginning to show their age.”

”Lovely clean room. Staff very friendly and informative about local attractions. Good choice of breakfast. Plenty of parking.”

”The food in the restaurant was first class and the staff were friendly and always helpful”

”A beautiful setting. The parkland with peacocks and chickens was great to walk around with our dog. Rooms spacious and clean with good facilities and restaurant food excellent. Staff were super friendly and helpful - a great place to stay especially as a base for walking/visiting the Lake Distrct.”
