”My fourth stay at the Kalamazoo House didn't disappoint. As always, Amy is a delight and the breakfasts are a great start to a day. The room was in excellent condition and everything worked as expected. Can't wait to have an excuse to come back.”

”We have stayed here twice and the staff, cleanliness, hotel ambiance and amenities are excellent. Check in staff was very friendly and efficient. Breakfast is inexpensive and the staff is working hard to keep food refreshed and they were very pleasant. The hotel and eating areas are nicely decorated and comfortable too. We are happy to have found this hotel for when we visit family in Kalamazoo.”

”I didn’t like the bathroom it was way to small and you could hear everything next door”

”The staff were very helpful and happy. Upon arrival, the individual at check in gave all the helpful information about the building. Very family friendly and a great price.”

”The room wasn’t properly cleaned, upon checking out, I had to look for my baby’s shoe, and to my surprise there were items left in the room from another guest, up under the dresser I found a dirty pair of rolled up socks, the sleeper sofa, had a used bottle of lotion stuck down on the side of it, found a phone charger, the refrigerator wasn’t properly cleaned either.. other then that the stay was ok… 3/5 stars”

”I picked this hotel based on having a pool and a hot tub. Overall, it is a nice conference hotel. Stay was only OK for me because the hot tub needed repair (bubbler not working) but we could still use it but the water was only a bit hotter than lukewarm. They unexpectedly closed he pool area for an hour in order to make repairs to the hot tub but it made not difference. It is the little things that matter. Dylan was particularly helpful at check-in”

”The room was fine, and had a microwave and fridge. The shower was slippery, and water splashed everywhere because there was nothing separating it from the floor. The residents staying there would make most people uncomfortable. I believe several of them lived there. There was a lot of traffic in and out; people were sleeping in their cars, and working on cars in the parking lot.”

”Disgusting, through the halls the smell was so bad. The smell lingered so bad it was on your clothing. Hand prints were everywhere on the glass and elevators. Blood, feces, urine and it all built up in corners and on the walls of the hotel.”

”There was one elevator that was out of order for the three days we were there. The ice machine on the second floor was out of order... The pool was green and cloudy. Could not swim... The carpet in the room had many stains on it. Toilet seat was loose... The door to our room would not shut on its own. The was extremely difficult to open. We mentioned this and were told they were aware of it... There was a lounging sofa in the room. It was stained. We asked for a king-size sheet to cover it....

”I hate the fact i had to get out of bed TWICE and come downstairs to get my smoke alarm to turn off and was accused of smoking..... even though multiple other guests were having the same issue at 5am!!!!”

”This was the nicest hotel we stayed at during our trip. Very spacious, clean, with great amenities. My only feedback is that housekeeping did not clean every other day as promised.”

”We were told that the rooms had kitchenettes, which, in fact they did not, and then we paid for four days. My husband went into the room, seen that there was bugs turned around and walked out, went to the desk and asked for a refund and we were told no that was $500 that they took from us that they refuse to refund even after we told them to keep the money for the one night and a refund the remaining days they told us no.”
