Perched atop a dune in Westport, this custom-built "Cabin style" house offers partial ocean views and a serene park-like setting. With easy walking access to the beach, this home is a beach lover's paradise that must be seen to be believed. The unique prow front design features a wall of windows facing west towards the ocean, allowing natural light to flood the open "great room" living area with vaulted wood ceilings and a cozy dining nook. Step out onto the wrap-around deck to soak in the sun or catch breathtaking evening sunsets.

This dog-friendly retreat boasts a large lofted upper-level bedroom with a bathroom featuring a tub and a private balcony, providing a perfect spot to unwind. The house is equipped with modern amenities including a washer/dryer, adult bikes for exploring the area, and a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and coffee maker. Relax in front of the TV with streaming capabilities, or enjoy the fresh ocean air on the deck, patio furniture, or balcony. Take a boogie on the 2 available boogie boards!

Located near the ocean, this family-friendly home ensures a comfortable stay equipped with plenty of towels and linens for the whole family. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The house was very unique and beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and the location is very convenient. The driveway is a bit of a hassle to deal with due to the steep angle, but it was manageable.Unfortunately, there were two issues we encountered during our stay. There were quite a few sugar ants in the kitchen, which we would not expect to see when renting a property. The bigger issue we had was the additional rules about pets that were not disclosed at the time of booking. There was a House Rules booklet thet mentioned pets were not allowed on the beds or furniture. We would not have booked this property had we known that ahead of time, and we do not deem that to be a "pet friendly" policy. We adhered to the policy regardless, but the owner should update their listing to accurately reflect *all* rules relating to pets.

Welcome retreat

Check in was seamless. This home is very lovely and feels very private nestled in the trees. The kitchen has everything you need and the game room was alot of fun. The beach is in view and in walking distance, we enjoyed the walk along the paved beach trail. We found the locals very friendly and definately will return. Thank you for having us!

Its a very nice house with lots of natural lighting. Loved being able to walj to beach and lighthouse is right up the street. The only complaint that I have is whoever clean that place is not doing a very good job. checke under furniture. All around furniture because every time I was playing ball with my dog. It would go rolling under the couch and I would have nothing but a bunch of dust bunnies on the ball. Also frezzer chest was dirty with food crump and on top of fridge emtty donut box the cleaning service did a bad job"(on thbal webs.
