”The house had a well stocked kitchen for dishes,etc. we did find the fridge a bit small. There were plenty of linens and towels. All the bedrooms are a good size. Pretty location. You can also park in front of the house, which we didn’t know until we unloaded our vehicles. Right next to the local store and LCBO. Wonderful coffee shop a walk away. Very pretty little town”

”I stayed at this cottage over the weekend, the cottage is very clean with all the amenities that would need at a cottage. The cottage is by the lake, and has the nicest view of the lake from the balcony. The owner is responsive and willing to help at any time. I’ll definitely go back there again.”

”Great location in Westport and our dog Peanut was welcome. Since I'm tall, I did have a problem with the low doorway into the main bedroom. The TV in the main bedroom was a welcome addition since our last stay here.”

”This rental had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and is located in a very quiet neighbourhood. While not on water, the water can be seen from the interior and exterior of the cottage and water access is less than a minute walk away.”

”The house is immaculate with touches of old charm and modern amenities. The beds were so comfortable that I slept in for the first time in years. It was the perfect spot to prepare for a wedding, and to also unwind after. I only wish I got more time to enjoy it as it was hard to leave! 10/10”

Man kann vor Ort zum Fischen gehen, wir hatten viel Erfolg und konnten den Fisch abends auf dem Barbecue zubereiten. Super Erfahrung! Wenn etwas fehlt hilft die Vermieterin gerne! Sehr freundlich!”

”From the moment you walk in the door the cottage is amazing, clean, has everything one could want to enjoy a weekend getaway. The landscaping and grounds are spectacular. The sound of the loons in the early morning and drinking your coffee by the fire pit or down by the platform is amazing. The Wi-Fi is phenomenal if you need to work and play! We will be back again! Fantastic place for family and friends. 5 stars across the board. Thanks for the great stay!!”

”This is an authentic old country house with original, solid wood furniture and comfy chairs. It has the quirky bits of old architecture (tiny toilets) but was clean and in good repair. The stars at night were spectacular without other light pollution.”

”Like the title says, the owners are very nice and doing their best but that can't cover up all the issues. The owners live on site by the way, along with the three cottages that are for rent...one right beside you at the pool level and one behind you that walks by the pool area to access the lake. There is not really any outdoor privacy. The view from the pool area and deck is breathtaking. The steps down to the pool from the cottage are definitely not to code, but there is a railing to hang...

”We had a nice little getaway with my elderly parents and sister’s family. The downstairs bedroom was perfect for our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed the cottage as it was nestled in it’s own little piece of heaven. Thanks for the lovely setting for making some family memories.”
