”Surf n Spice feels like you’re visiting a family holiday home. The rooms are airy and clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff are helpful and make sure your every need is met. The cafe at the front of the property has the best brekky ever.”
”Great property right on the beach , in comparison the prices in the hotel / restaurant are higher ( which is to be expected) . Staff was lovely , the hotel could do with some small updates / upgrades. Location is very good, under 10 mins to walk into town. Great place if you are looking for something that not in overcrowded part of Sri Lanka ”
”Wifi oli todella huono, toimi ehkä noin 10% ajasta. Hotelli on hyvällä paikalla ihan rannan vieressä, näköalat kaikista huoneista on rannalle päin. Huone oli iso mutta vähän nuhjuinen. Kylpyhuone oli ok. Allas oli siisti ja mukava. Palvelutaso korkeintaan kohtalainen.”

”The place is situated close by all the relevant beaches, especially Hiriketiya and Nilwella beach.
It is about 10-15 minutes to get to hiriketiya road where most of the shops/resturants are.
Its calm and tranquil at this place, away from the busy scene at hiriketiya road yet not to far to get there when you want.
Space to park if u have tuk tuk, scooter etc. The rooms are cozy and clean. Some good restaurants very close by.
The host is particularly nice and kind! He was very helpful to...

Contro: gestito da due ragazzi di 18 e 20 anni che NON parlano inglese. Contro: camera tripla vuol dire letto matrimoniale king size da 180cm e non 3 letti Contro: pulizia della camera solo su richiesta al 4 gg l abbiamo sollecitata come il cambio di asciugamani. ”Malgré notre confirmation de réservation, une fois sur place nous n'avons pas été reçu. Cela avec plusieurs excuses différentes. La première excuse donnée à notre chauffeur, c'est qu'ils avaient reçu 11 personnes en dernière minutes donc plus de place de dispo. la suivante pour nous, c'est qu'il ne travaillait plus avec notre agences Expedia et la 3eme lorsqu'un agent de Hôtels a appelé, ils ont dit qu'ils étaient fermé à cause de la météo.... Nous ne recommdons pas ces menteurs!”

”We loved our stay at coco tangalla. The staff was welcoming and kind and the location was amazing. The property is beautiful with a great pool and beautiful view of the beach (although you can’t swim there because of the rocks, but it’s great to watch crabs in the rock pools!) - food was very tasty (egg hoppers were especially good) and the room was comfortable and practical (not huge in itself but the bed was comfy and there was storage for our bags under the bed, and the bathroom was big)....
