”I’ve visited this area since I was a kid, and while it’s unfortunate to see how much the town has changed over the years, there are still people in the area who are trying to preserve it. Randy and Shannon along with their dog Strider happen to be some of these people! When we arrived, we met Shannon who gave us a tour of our cabin and walked us through the basics. ”What a great experience. Gary greeted us, gave us a tour and what we could expect during our stay. We felt so welcomed and cherished. We took a walk by the lake, sat around the fire, played poil and relaxed in the main room. The hospitality was amazing. We can't say enough good about this place. Our only regret is we didn't stay longer. We already have plans to return with friends. ”

”It was exactly what Mike and I needed. A place to "go home to" after spending time with relatives. Even though when we stayed the temp hit an all time high (97)!!!. The cabin was a perfect size for us. Loved that the furniture was custom-built and the pictures are available to purchase!!! They, IN themselves make the cabin!!! It was very peaceful. Tiffany (the owner) is very nice. We will definitely be back for a longer visit.”
