  • Tämä neljäs kerros, 2 makuuhuoneen / 2 kylpyhuoneen yksikkö sijaitsee Aspens Lodge on kaltevuus puolella Blackcomb Mountain. Siinä on raikas ulkoasu, moderni valaistus, kahvin innoittama sisustus ja viihtyisä olohuone, jossa on kaasutakka. Lomakeskuksen yhteinen uima-allas ja kaksi kylpytynnyriä tarjoavat täydellisen hiihtokappaleen ja sielun palautumisen. Niille, jotka haluavat hemmotella itseään, ylemmässä kylässä on tarjolla mukava valikoima ruokailumahdollisuuksia, vain lyhyen 5 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä laskettelurinteestä, Upper Village Blackcomb-gondoli (muodollisesti Wizard Express).

The view from this room is perfect!! You can see the pools and hot tubs, you can even see out to the ski trails and gondola!!

Fantastic property

We LOVED our stay here. The property exceeded our expectations and comfortably fit two families of 4. The location is fantastic. Our kids loved the pool, and the ski valet was great. We would recommend this place to anyone and hope to come back soon.

Great location for ski trip, but..

Right on the slopes - great for ski trip!! Ski valet is great too! But that's about it for good things. The apartment is pretty tiny - barely enough for our group size. Pillows were definitely uncomfortable - both me and my wife suffered from sprain till a few days after the trip! The pull out queen bed in the living room is unusable - not firm at all and our son gave up on it partly through the first night. Also, about the checkin/checkout process - 4 pm check in and 10 am checkout seems too late and too early on the wrong sides! (6 hrs to prep the place for next guest??) + there's a weird clause saying "before leaving, ensure dishwasher has finished washing and has shutdown"!! In our 10+ yrs of using rental houses, have never seen this one!

I'm rating this 5 stars with some caveats which I'll post at the end, since I don't want to detract from the positives. I think this is the best location in Whistler / Blackcomb - truly ski in / out even for our stay in late march. On-site ski valet open 7 - 7, 5 minute walk downhill to upper village (where there is a small market for breakfast foods, snacks, etc.) and 3 well maintained hot tubs and a pool. 10 minute or so walk to whistler village or you can take the shuttle. Relatively soundproof units and the shuttle systems picks up near the top of the driveway. Most questions i had, the front desk staff were super informative - everything from best way to walk to the village (it's actually down the side of the ski slope) to where the good skiing was. The laundry room was listed as coin operated but it actually had credit card options (broken during our stay) and phone app options as well - the app worked great and would actually alert you when your load was done. The caveats - the cleaning / turnover crew sort of did a "good enough" job (quite a bit of stuff behind / to the side of and under furniture from previous guests). I got over it quickly but some might not. If you show up after the ski valet closes, you have to throw your gear in sort of a crappy room (no gear in condos) by the lobby - the valet is a separate company from the condos. The general area lock codes (pool) etc. are not intuitive - ask the front desk. Finally, the unit didn't have a toaster.

Lack of assistance

Having a check in at 4:00 pm and the property management office close at 5;00 pm leaves you without assistance if there is anything broken.

Wonderful Weekend

Unit was clean and looked exactly as advertised. Super close to restaurants, activity rentals, and shopping. Lovely quiet location yet just a short scenic stroll to the main village if your craving the hustle n bustle! We will be back again!!

Great stay great location

Had a great experience. Perfect size for mom and dad, 2 kids (5 and 9) and Grandma too. Wifi was strong and held up under 4 iPads, 2 work computers, 3 cell phones and our Apple TV. Loved having view of pool as it’s bright with a nice view of the mountains and you have line of sight to kids camp and gondola. Ski in and ski out is priceless with the kids. We will be back!

A perfect family getaway

We enjoyed our stay, real thought into the amenities. We lacked for nothing. Our original vacation at the beach was not a reality in our current state. This rental was exactly what was needed. We enjoyed our walks to village and made use or kitchen to make meals. We had to book pool time in half hour slots, we made the best of it. I would go back, we look forward to it.

Great unit in a great location

We've stayed in several different units in the Aspens, and this one was great. It's beautifully renovated and well equipped. Plenty of room for boots and helmets. We had a family of 5 with 3 boys ages 20, 17, and 14 and it didn't feel crowded. The property manager was great; friendly and easy to work with. We'd definitely stay here again.

Great location at base of Blackcomb Mountain

We rented this 2 bedroom condo for an end of season vacation. Nice layout and well appointed. Although we didn't check in through the front desk they were very helpful when needed. Only two issues. One was that the building is of wood construction and we were on the 4th of 5 floors. The people above us were very heavy footed and at times it felt as though the roof was going to fall in because they were jumping around and seemingly stomping all over their condo. I understand the owners can't do much about this but still it caused a lot of problems. The second issue was parking. Never before have I had to pay for parking when renting a condo. We had to pay $17/day to park in our own building. This is an issue the owners can look into. I felt that this was a bit cheap on their part. I would rent at this location again but not unless I was on the top floor.

Great property and location

Enjoyed our recent stay in this 2bdrm unit; perfect for our family of four. The location was great and we enjoyed using the pool and hot tub. The weather was warm so the a/c made the unit very comfortable. We also used the BBQ located on the deck. The kitchen contained most of the items we needed, however, the knives were very dull and could be replaced. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it highly to others.
