”We had a very nice stay at The Esklet Guest House. The owner met us on arrival and gave a very clear instruction on the parking arrangements. It is on street parking, the owner gave us a parking disc for the first night and also a permit for the following two days. Very useful to have clear instruction rather than be left to figure it out yourself. The accomodation was a large ground floor room. Very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect - close enough to explore Whitby’s attractions but in a peaceful spot for a good night’s sleep. We couldn’t have asked for better hospitality. Highly recommended! ”

The view from the window over the garden and Bagdale was good. We could have done with more loo roll and there was no coffee machine, but we would definitely stay there again.”
