”A very nice hotel. Unfortunately we were in the Victorian Room, which is on the first floor right next to the main reception area and opposite the breakfast room. It was therefore very noisy and we could not sleep, especially after 7am. Thankfully we were relocated to a quieter room after two nights there. Avoid the Victorian Room if you are a light sleeper or like to sleep in. ”

”I cannot say enough good things about this place— it was the best part of our trip! Super easy to get into your room, from the nice ambiance in the stairwell to the cleanest room & bathroom I have ever stayed in. The bed is really comfortable and there was no noise that was heard from any other rooms. From the Admiral we walked to Chomp to have dinner one night, which was very good, and in the mornings we walked to the Picnic Cafe for coffee and they have good pastries. And if you can get there...

”Likes: gym, the parking staff was professional, responsive and friendly, the location is great: near everything. Dislikes: staff was friendly only we arrived, we forgot tooth brushes receptionist didn’t know if they had them and told us to come downs stairs to get it but no one was at the reception, I was just there waiting for someone to appear from their office. Also on checkout day they were short and curt, I asked for an hour later checkout - on a Sunday and not busy at all, receptionist...

”The Vanderbilt is fabulous! The building is beautiful- the sleeping rooms and the lobby and dining areas. After a day walking down Bellevue Ave, it was great to go to the indoor pool and relax. The gym was clean and had all the necessary equipment. And the staff was welcoming and helpful. It was a great stay!”

”Perfect place to stay without children, with children, with or without pets. We had a great stay from the time we checked in. Front desk was very friendly and very welcoming. Our suite was very nice with comfortable, home feel to it. The only complaint we would have, which is nothing really, the controllers for the TV dont work very well so we just used our Hilton Apps. Lol problem solved. We will be back. It was a perfect weekend. Oh and the breakfast was very good as well. Thank you...

”We are very happy to recommend Forty1. Our family of 4, with 2 teenage daughters accommodated nicely in the room of 2 queen size beds, city view. The gas fireplace did not work, though, but it did not play a big role in our stay during the summer hot season in July. Very attentive staff.”
