Each morning away can begin with a fresh cup of coffee on the back deck as you plan a full day of adventure. Regardless of how you choose to spend each day, the inviting warmth of the wood-burning stove and the smell of a homecooked meal can greet each guest, as the full kitchen boasts a gas range and modern appliances of home. Plus, when the stars come out, the loft will be just the place for a movie night with comfy sofas and a flatscreen TV.

What's nearby:
Perched just under five miles north of downtown Whitefish, this is the perfect place to call home base. Head into town and you will find a plethora of restaurants and shops to explore each day. Come summer, Whitefish Lake will be just the ticket for boating, fishing, swimming, or paddleboarding. When winter months roll around, there will be no lack of fun to be had, as Whitefish Mountain Resort is just 8 miles away offering unlimited ski runs for all experience levels!

The property was very nice and everything we needed was there. Deck could use some aesthetic maintenance but that’s about it. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in such a quiet, peaceful setting. The state were great.

Communication was just ok. Had to request check-in info. Also, requested to know coffee pot situation. Was told only a keirig when there was a pot too. Had to return to store. Needs a queen bed in guest room.Property is not great for tall people in guest room. Property could easily be upgraded.

It was as a decent location .. however the house felt unattended and in need of some overall maintenance. Dirty hot nuts in drawers, cabinets and drawers disorganized and hard to find kitchen needs… sheets were rough and uncomfortable … the beds were comfortable; air vents were filthy and refrigerated needs a new filter and the keurig needs a new filter.. floaters we’re in our coffee water… sink and drain need a thorough cleaning as do the windows… also the sink in the master bath has issues draining.. the house has the potential to be amazing… but without care it is just mediocre.

Peace and Quiet

Really enjoyed this property. Up on the mountain side with incredible views. Deer visited us every day right outside the windows. Will visit this property again. I will add to another reviewer that in the snow months you will need a four-wheeled or AWD to make it up the steep road and driveway. Was not a problem for us.

Property very secluded - we liked that. Needed 4-wheel drive to get up the driveway but not an issue for us. Spacious. Clean. Comfy. The fireplace was awesome and cozy. Kitchen had some really poor quality pots / pans / cooking items. But overall, we would definitely return. Great views. Serene. Easy drive to town. Loved watching the deer roam the property. We really had a home away from home.

Everything was great. There was a heat wave while we were there, and it would have been nice to have fans available to cool off. We did open windows for when it cooled off in the evening, but it got warmer in the place as each day passed. Other than that the house was equipped and very nice. Enjoyed the nine nights and would book there again.

Sucluded, but not far from town of Whitefish. The home is fully equipped with all you need. Comfortable and only 1/2 hour from GNP. We enjoyed our stay!

Great cabin

The cabin was welcoming and warm, it had tons of extra blankets, fans and space. The location was exactly what we wanted (remote but close to town) and they gave us early check in which was perfect as we are traveling with a 1yr old it was the foundation on an incredible and memorable trip. Thank you!

Nice place, but

The property was spacious, nice, and clean. However, we arrived late in the evening, so it was dark. We followed the directions, but the directions were horrible. We were lost for some time. We had to call a representative (who was located in a foreign country) for help. While he was very nice, and tried hard to help, he was hard to understand because of his foreign accent. Late in the night, we finally got to the property. Then the key pad on the door didn’t work, so representative helped us find the key box. Next time we will book a place that has a local representative. I asked owners to make it right, but I received no response. I would not recommend booking this rental.

Visiting Montana wasn’t just our favorite part of our trip!! The cabin was such a relaxing and fun time! My husband and I have a rule when traveling: never stay at the same place twice; however, we will definitely break that rule for this property!!

Cosy cabin

The best part of our trip was coming back to this beautiful cabin. We visited glacier national park and toured the local area but felt so relaxed coming back to this cabin. My beagle loved the fenced in back yard and listening for all the squirrels and other wildlife.

Great lodge near Whitefish

Lovely light and airy lodge style house up in the forest close to Whitefish with a fabulous deck for relaxing and star gazing. Nicely furnished and a fairly well equipped kitchen which we used a lot. The house is about 15 min drive from downtown Whitefish and everything it has to offer. We really enjoyed our stay there and would highly reccommend it. Only minuses for us was the bed in the second bedroom was a bit small for two people and as we could see, there was no garbage recycling option.

Not Caring about the details

We arrived and the drive was not plowed, so we did not know what was drive way or yard, and got stuck. No response from manager that day. The house could be nice, but is in poor shape, the hinges on cabinets don't work, some of the drawers don't close, the bedspread was dirty, and no instructions on how anything worked. There is a fireplace, but no fire starter, they left two pods for washing clothes, half a roll of cheap paper towels, etc. Everything was done to the minimum standards. It wouldn't take much to make it a lot better, but that does not seem to be a priority on the part of the manager or the owner.
