”This home hit all the high points for what my husband wanted for his 60th birthday: a quiet location but not so remote we felt isolated. It’s perfectly situated between Lake Luzerne and Lake George so lots to do during the day. It’s across from a stable and we got to go horseback riding. At night there’s a fantastic long dining room table with plenty of room for everyone to sit around or you can go outside and sit by the fire pit. ”Our stay was very nice. Place was clean and organized. We are a family of 4, Three adults and a teen. The sofa/futon is a pull out double bed. It was ok. If left open to bed, not much room during the day with kitchen so close. The drive to the lake was short and very nice. Lots of places to eat in the area. Great shops in area. All in all, a very nice place to stay. ”

”Weather was perfect, plenty of sleeping and private space. So much fun had by all three generations of extended family. Beach was great for the littles. Our 4 year old learned to kayak. We were expecting a dock for our boat from the pictures online but we made it work. Relaxing!!!”

”The property was fantastic. Clean and very spacious. 6 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms. There were 12 of us and we never felt like it was crowded. Very big kitchen fully stocked with all utensils, beer/wine glasses, mugs, plates etc. The beds were comfortable. The property was 15 minutes easy drive from the "downtown" Lake George and very straight forward drive. Host were very responsive. Check-in process was smooth. ”We had a beautiful, relaxing, & activity filled stay in this unique lakeside cottage with an osprey-level view of the southern end of Lake Champlain. Kayaking, bird watching, apple picking, day trips to Middlebury & Vergennes & lounging around the atmospheric cottage made for a top notch experience all around. Thanks!”

”An excellent set-up for my wife and I, two adult sons, our daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren. Easy, short ride to the village and attractions. Comfortable bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space to relax. The kids loved the beach area, especially the kayak rides. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.”

”A very nice clean house with ample parking and a large yard. One suggestion for the owner is to clarify what type of coffee maker is provided, as we bought ground coffee with us but it is a Keurig. Alternatively providing the Keurig pods and a salt and pepper shaker would be ideal.. ”

”We had an awesome week of great weather. There was more than enough room for our family of 13 adults and 2 babies and every house was fully equipped in the kitchens. The lake is so clean and beautiful and the set up of the docks is perfect. The sunsets were amazing. Deb was so helpful and very quick to respond to us when we needed something.
