”It's in a rural spot off the highway but great location for what we wanted. We visited Franklin gem mines, Cherokee, and Bryson City all within a short drive. The house was clean minus a few dust bunnies. It definitely has some wear and tear but for the cost and location I have no complaints. My only negative which I'm not sure if the home owner can even control is that the tap water smelled horrible. Bring your own drinking water. ”

”Charming mountain house with a wrap around deck and screened porch. Hot tub was great and kitchen details - like pot holders and corkscrew/bottle opener - appreciated very much. Enjoyable just sitting on the deck and enjoying the nature and peace. Would recommend a 4 wheel drive to get up and down Plott Balsam Road (though we did manage with a 2wd sedan). Very close to Soco Falls and Blue Ridge Parkway. A lovely secluded getaway that you won't want to leave. ”

”This property exceeded our expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice, in our opinion. It’s perfectly clean, with a Christmas tree in every single space. It’s an easy 20 minute drive up to the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad for the Polar Express and was such a fun place for our 2 y.o. And 6 y.o. to add to the Christmas magic of the weekend. ”Property was spacious, comfy, and had everything we needed for our time there. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The view of the mountains from the upper porch was unexpected and beautiful! Driveway is steep but manageable.”
