”I liked the room set up. I didn't like the fact that there was no robe in the closet. I also found a tiny cockroach in the the bathroom. Hopefully it's just a one off incident. Otherwise infestation must be checked for. Thanks”

”Nice place! Room was clean and well in tact! It's quiet inside, the pool is great, and the room spacious for a studio! Could benefit from chairs at the kitchen bar, so that one could sit there for eating and not just at the desk (and also two accommodate two people). A grocery store just next door, which is quite handy. Also a restaurant/cafe on the same block, but more expensive. Gym is separate and have to pay for.”

”Overall it's a nice hotel, rooms are comfortable, breakfast was good and the pool is really nice. I was a bit disappointed by the fact that the elevators were small and usually busy (not great during the coronavirus pandemic) and by the fact that the staff quoted me an incorrect rate on car rental, only correcting the rate 2 hours before the rental was supposed to start (making it substantially more expensive, and importantly, shifting it from cheaper than a private rental to more expensive)....

Breakfast had options "on menu", not when we ordered (bacon/sausage; we only have sausage, different juice options; we only have pineapple juice etc) In our room we kept AC at 16 (as it was when we entered) the whole time, because that way only room stayed cool enough. ”

”Bath mat a little grubby. Got a shock off the shower spray and tap, even with water heater turned off. Reported to front desk; they did not seem surprised. Breakfast OK. Margarine and jam for toast served in original large tubs or jars, used by all tables. Not very sanitary, as can't control what people do with it or how they get the jam etc out of the home sized packaging. Do they lick their spoon and then dip it again into the jam or margarine? And how long do these sit uncovered during...

”I really wanted to love La Villa, I think it was likely a great spot at a different time but unfortunately the property is pretty rundown and in need of some love. The restaurant and pool area is lovely, breakfast is great, location in Osu is also great. But the rooms unfortunately are really outdated. The shower in my room leaked into my bedroom, and I then realised it wasn’t the first time - the room had been smelling damp and there was damp/mold on the wall. The blinds broke and wouldn’t...
