âA lovely very old building. Sadly what made it uncomfortable was that the building sits right on the roadside and our room was over the front door area where the traffic made it difficult to sleep. The room was small but the beds were comfortable. A heater was provided in the room as no plumbed in heating. The shower had no power but I guess this is perhaps the trade off with such an old building. The gentleman who checked us in and looked after us for breakfast was great and friendly. ...

âSpacious and very clean room with all the amenities you could ask for. Some very thoughtful touches.
Contact with Cara was amazing, she responded promptly to any queries. Breakfast was delicious and delivered exactly on the time we requested. Couldnât fault it â

âVery dated decor ( not necessarily Victorian!)
so many higgldy pickdly steps and differing floor levels all over the place. Was a pleasant stay but definitely not for anyone with mobility concern. â
