”I spent one night at the Throstles Nest Hotel. The room was a bit small, but it contained everything I needed (a bed and a water source). Of course, it would have made the stay more pleasant if the toilet and the shower had not been placed in the corridor, but all in all, this hotel was a good experience. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was in a walking distance from Anfield and Goodison park that were the main attractions for me.”

”Owner was rude before we even got to the property (sent me a video telling me she was fed up of lazy people and came across very aggressive). When we arrived at the property it was in poor condition. There was black mold in the bedrooms, missing paint on the walls which were barely covered by paintings. It said it could sleep 12 people but it barely fit 8 of us. There was a limit on the time we could go into the garden and use the hot tub. Also there was a camera pointed directly at the hottub...

”There was rubbish under one of the side tables and the head boards were disgusting, the kettle would not click off unless switched off at the wall. Blinds were broken and the walls were badly in need of paint. The water did not get hot out of the tap. Staff were nice, but room was not worth the money, and breakfast consisted of a loaf of bread and a coffee machine.”
