”i mean nice area outside, good for dog walking (as a dog friendly hotel kinda important). on arrival the owner stopped his car and approached stating oh keep dogs on lead. i asked why as it was an enclosed area with maybe 2 other cars in the entire car park. he moved from everywhere is dangerous to oh there is a private house over there with a another dog (obviously history here). we dutifully stayed away but i let him sniff about. hotel was super dated, marks in the bathroom, chips on the...

”Our stay was perfect. The room was big enough for our family of four, bed were very comfortable and the room was very clean and tidy. What’s an added bonus is the best breakfast you will ever have! ”The only positive from our stay, if it didn’t Happen, would have actually been a blessing . The front desk agreed to help us check in later than possible by leaving key in lockbox. Unfortunately, same desk clerk told us hotel was in Dumfries which has a road with a similar which led u s to council housing at midnight.
