”The staff had no clue where things were the breakfast was messy juice machine broken coffee machine also they had a pot of crappy coffee.there pool was down and that is why I chose this spot.was told it hasn't worked in years.managment were rude.i never used this site to travel and I'm not very happy at all with my very expensive trip.the hotel was old and rundown the outside wasn't kept up the TV had 26 channels and half were blurry.i would like to know why you have this place as an option it...

”Don't miss this lodge hidden in the green hillside near Sturbridge. Nice quiet location, and a neat 2nd storey veranda in Bldg 2 one can access from the upper lot to slow and and chill out. Very reasonable, and fairly priced Thank you.”

”My family and I stayed here while visiting family in Monson. It was very convenient and safe. We were greeted with smiling faces upon our arrival. The staff were very accommodating and such a joy to interact with. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The breakfast was served hot every morning with a variety of options for my hungry teens. The pool was great on a couple rainy days. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this particular location based on the staff alone....

”The historic Inn is beautifully maintained and updated and provides a unique experience of staying in a home dating back to the 1600's. Breakfast was delicious and Megan the cook was welcoming and helpful. We always stay at the Black Walnut Inn when in Amherst!”

”It's not a 5-star luxury hotel, but this kind of small and cozy bed and breakfast is just what we sometimes are looking for. When you are so warmly welcomed and a host is a lovely person, you really can experience more than you think. We really felt we were like local people when sitting outside on the porch. Such a nice experience for us. We spent 1 night. The bed was soft and the room was clean. In the room was really small fridge, which could be a little bigger. The host made breakfast...

”Price was very reasonable. It is a problem that there is most of the time no one in the office. Thus, it is really difficult to address issues, particularly in the evening. The TV went out in the evening, and we decided not to bother anyone. Bed was excellent. Location is quiet. Coffee in the office is great, but it would be better in the room. Suggest installing better clothes hanging capability in room. Overall, good value.”

”We only stayed for one night, but we found that the Inn exceeded our expectations. It was a beautiful historic site, and the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff were as expected from the other reviews of the property. I was traveling with my daughter who has celiac disease, and the Inn was able to provide her with a lovely GF option for breakfast that was as delightful as the rest of the offerings. True GF options while traveling are limited, so this experience was a gem.”
