âClifden, Abbeyglen castle and this part of the west coast of Ireland are absolutely stunning. Donât miss the Prosecco Welcome and the hotel owners talk on the history of the local area and Abbeyglen Castle itself. It was absolutely fascinating, occasionally humorous and brought everything to life. The owner remembered our names from the moment we were introduced. Very rare! Iâve travelled globally for business 2 out of 4 weeks for the past 15 years. Iâve stayed in some fantastic hotels around...

âThe place seemed clean and well put together. The beds were not very comfortable and the hot/warm water in the shower is near nonexistent. We tried to communicate a couple issues with the host but never got a reply. Any communication was the typical copy and paste instructions for check in and check out. I will say, the location was perfect though. Right on the square with everything very walkable. â

âWe loved this place just around the corner from our favorite pub (Green's), restaurants, the market, shops and the harbour. We had everything we needed, and the charm of the place was everything. it's unique, including a layout with two kitchens and some steps up and down, but we loved the wood-burning fire stove, the little garden with roses out back and let's say it again â a great location for exploring the Burren (don't miss the Burren Perfumery) and environs! âGood news: We were able to check-in early. Not so good news: 1) One of the bedroom bathrooms/shower had mold. 2) There were spiders hanging from the kitchen/dining area. My wife watched one about ready to drop on my head!â
