”Very responsive cute place to stay at near bar harbor”

”This is the perfect place to stay in Maine. Come here for a 30 mins drive to Bar harbour and Acadia national park. A nice central area to stay in with good restaurants nearby. Great staff and clean bathrooms”

”Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience at this hotel. In the middle of the night, while we were asleep, someone unlocked and attempted to open our room door. Fortunately, the security latch stopped the door from opening completely, although the force partially ripped the door trim from the wall. The room had only the standard door lock and the security latch. After this incident, I had to wedge a chair under the door handle to keep the door secure for the rest of the night. Needless...

”Had a very pleasant stay! A very beautiful B&B in a great location. Our room was clean and very cozy. The AC was working perfectly and had a nice breeze with the windows open. The staff were nice & helpful.”

”Property looks like it could use sprucing up. The room was clean, bed comfortable. Adequate shower & bathroom amenities. AC worked well, but the air was humid. I had to put on the heat for a while to dry things up. I had a 2 night reservation; they didn’t clean the room in between. I wouldn’t stay there again.”

”I stayed in one of the cabins. Everything was good with the room. It’s conveniently located close to Acadia. I’ve been here a few times before and will be back again”

”Small clean room. Overpriced but you are paying for location and supply. Very quiet. Comfortable bed. We walked maybe 5-7 minutes to all the shops/restaurants. Nice pool. 15 minute drive to Arcadia. Would stay again.”

”Cozy and well maintained”

”The staff were super helpful when we checked in. We noticed a few issues with the room. There were still crumbs on the counters, one sink drained very slowly and one bed was missing the fitted sheet. We also had to ask for more toilet paper and another set of towels as we had 4 in our party and only had 3 sets. When I asked the staff for the fitted sheet they were helpful and apologetic. Housekeeping offered to come up immediately but it wasn't necessary. The pool was very nice and well...

”The staff was really helpful during checkout and morning breakfast was nice. Also hot coffee & chocolate all day long was a good addition. Hotel was clean and well kept, pool was smelling of chlorine (didn’t use).”

”Just stayed in Under the Canvas, Surry Me The stay was wonderful! More importantly the staff was incredibly welcoming, helpful and attentive. You’ve got to try the Rosemary & Brown Sugar infused coffee! Great place for everyone. Can’t wait to do it again”

Easy walk to Main Street but away from noise, super friendly staff, excellent breakfast and amenities, drinking water, coffee and ice provided, clean and spacious room, convenient parking, grocery store across the street. It offers everything we wanted. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!”
