”It's not a 5-star luxury hotel, but this kind of small and cozy bed and breakfast is just what we sometimes are looking for. When you are so warmly welcomed and a host is a lovely person, you really can experience more than you think. We really felt we were like local people when sitting outside on the porch. Such a nice experience for us. We spent 1 night. The bed was soft and the room was clean. In the room was really small fridge, which could be a little bigger. The host made breakfast...

”Clean . New. Didn't like the fact my door was knocked on at 1100am saying I had to check out when my reservation said noon. The gentleman was rude. And rushed me out of there going so far as to follow me to the office and basically telling me to leave. Very unprofessional. That needs to get cleaned up. Nice place otherwise”

”One of the reasons that I stay at Hampton Inn is because the beds are so incredibly comfortable, and this visit didn't disappoint. But, what stood out about this Hampton Inn was the breakfast. It was amazing! It was seasoned, there was a variety of food, each day, and it was perfectly prepared and executed. The staff was helpful and even brought out almond milk for my daughter. Another big plus was that the staff were all very friendly and helpful.”

”Quaint and comfortable stay for our one night in the most adorable town of Shelburne Falls. A walk to the river and the bridge of flowers at sunset gave us the most beautiful pictures. Owner was kind and helpful. We stayed here while my son biked at Thunder Mountain-a quick easy 10 min drive away and would stay again.”

”The historic Inn is beautifully maintained and updated and provides a unique experience of staying in a home dating back to the 1600's. Breakfast was delicious and Megan the cook was welcoming and helpful. We always stay at the Black Walnut Inn when in Amherst!”

”The host was on site when we arrived and greeted us graciously and efficiently. The room was clean and spacious, with a beautifully renovated bathroom (Room 5). The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but comfortable. There was no place to hang clothes, but there was plenty of drawer space in the bureau and bed stands. The reservation portal indicates the room has a hair dryer and a microwave oven, but it does not. They are still in renovation mode, so the outer appearance of the property still...

”Room had just been renovated and there was still work being done. We were very pleased overall with the stay. The woman at the front desk who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful with dinner options. We would stay at this property again.”

”Our room was clean but very congested. Very small mini fridge and no microwave. No closet just a small bar to hang clothes on. Tub was extremely slippery. Beds were very comfortable. Typical breakfast fare nothing very appealing. Went somewhere else for breakfast. Charged us upfront for incidentals of 75.00 which I did not like at all. We won't stay at this property again.”

”The place was fine--I don't demand much of a hotel. It is basically a place to sleep. However, more discerning travelers might have been upset by the fact that the supplemental door lock didn't work, one of the shelves in the closed was broken and the one day out of four that we had maid service, they seemed to only half finish the job. They may be very short of staff.”
