”This was a fantastic place to stay: clean, comfortable, and in an excellent location just around the corner from Shakespeare’s Birthplace. Although it is in the pedestrian-friendly walking district, parking was still easy and convenient. And the location is great for exploring town. The host provided excellent directions for getting in, which made arrival simple and stress-free. The space had a very nice layout and everything felt thoughtfully arranged. Overall, it was an extremely convenient...

”The atmosphere of this home is a bit more beautiful than the description. It is an easy walk to the town center and its Shakespearean dominance. Later in the day and back in the patio with the vast open space of the race track, one can get the best sound of silence possible, with the beautiful scene and distant figures having their daily stroll.”

”Amazing stay in this spacious character property. Everything we needed for a girlie night away for 6 of us (a room each). We had great weather so we could sit in the quiet garden. Masses of ice in the freezer and an ice machine so that was a bonus. Highly recommend.”

”Unfortunately, I paid a fee for two rooms but the owner had not realised this and gave the second room to someone elseThe VRBO listing did not make it entirely clear at the time that the payment was indeed for both roomsMy sister and I had to share a double bed in one room, which was not ideal”

”Not as advertised, could not fit 7 grown people... only room for 4 in beds then had 1 fold-down futon and a click clack sofabed... should be advertised for 4 plus a young child. Interesting set up in the matted bedroom, but those beds were comfy! Did feel like you were in someone else's home and they just stepped out for a minute. Good if very small people, shower very small. Mold in small shower too.”

”Visited in June with 2 girlfriends for 50th birthday trip. The cottage was perfect for our needs. We each had our own bedroom. One definitely needs to be nimble enough to manage the staircase and the low ceilings on the top floor but we had no issues. The host was quick to respond to any questions/needs. The amenities were excellent - record player, fully furnished kitchen and the lovely outdoor seating area in back. We had morning tea & coffee out there and wine in the evenings. Location...
