”The room itself was clean, functional with enough space and good facilities. However we didn't realize the property was a converted house (and our room was upstairs). This didn't jive with the pictures of the chalet bungalows we had seen on the website. Perhaps we didn't pay enough attention when booking, but we felt rather misled by the lovely pictures of the converted back garden and chalet rooms. Be aware of presence of a pub behind the property (ear plugs provided) and that check-in and...

”Clean room, good value, very friendly and accommodating staff. Our room was above the pub on a Friday and Saturday night so it was noisy until close but earplugs did the job.”

”We had a wonderful stay at Stanwell House Hotel. The staff are excellent, every member of the team was incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in Room 32, which was perfectly cosy with a very comfortable bed and offered lovely views. The breakfast was great—high quality and plenty of choice. My only minor note is that drinks can be quite expensive at the bar. Highly recommended for a boutique stay in Lymington!”
