The hotel itself was clean and the breakfast had make your own waffles which kids loved. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Bad thing was the location. VERY bad area. Lots of homeless drug users. ”

”This is the third or fourth Hilton Garden Inn that we've stayed at with our dog. He's a pro at hotel life, the Hilton Garden Inn definitely makes it easier than some hotels. This particular one has a small but very clean dog area outside of the hotel. They placed us on the second floor to get in and out easily but you couldn't take the stairwell outside without triggering a fire alarm. Seems odd to not have the option to take the stairs.”

When you are so warmly welcomed and a host is a lovely person, you really can experience more than you think. We really felt we were like local people when sitting outside on the porch.
