”Host Christine was very responsive and check in was easiest we've ever had. Nice updated bathroom. We loved the country feel but were close enough to towns for dinner. We spent most of our time driving around exploring history in Virginia. We saw deer and a family of foxes near the cottage which was fun to watch. ”Older, charming house in downtown Front Royal was ideal location for our weekend away with friends. Plenty of bedrooms, nice big dining table, wonderful front porch. Appreciated the walking proximity to Front Royal's historic downtown and easy driving distance to Shenandoah National Park.”

”What a shiny gem this is amongst the entrance of the Shenandoah! Expansive very new house. Gorgeous banks of windows and spectacular views. Huge dining and entertaining spaces upstairs and the lower level is just so much fun! Pool table, darts, foosball, a huge wet bar complete with lounge TV seating, fridge, barstool seating and of course neon signs and cheeky slogans. Bedrooms are huge and lovely. Bathrooms very modern and higher quality. Outdoors you’ll find a hot tub and a pergola with cozy...

”Everything was as described. We had a lovely weekend relaxing under the stars in the hot tub and spending time with family in the Shenandoah Valley. We can't wait to come back to this oasis!”

”Nice, peaceful farmhouse with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Close to vineyards and quaint villages with great restaurants, however the best thing about it is its proximity to the Old Rag Mountain trailhead. If you're planning to do that hike, this home is just a short walk to the trailhead so you won't have to worry about the parking issues, and after the hike, the hot tub on the home's deck is heavenly! Wonderful place for a wonderful get away!”

”Great stay and very accommodating for outings/get together with friends. We loved the fire pit area. Great views of the Shenandoah river as well.”

”The house is beautiful and has all the appliances you could ever use. It had coffee and filters stocked in the pantry. Sheets and towels were high quality. There is a 50 charge to use the hot tub which was not stated in the description. The road coming into the property is very steep and luckily my SUV had 4 wheel drive for easy access.”

”Hosts are responsive and considerate. A cool jug of water and a bottle of wine and snacks were nice surprises on a hot summer day. To be honest it was not the most comfort house we’ve rented. But the property is very well maintained and is made to its best. You could tell how much thought the hosts have put in and it makes you smile noticing those little details. They have the BEST instructions. I hope every rental has that.Wish they had washer and dryer though. We were caught by a heavy shower....
