”We booked this hotel for a romantic 2 night adults only getaway by the lakes. The hotel itself is fabulous - clean and welcoming. Our room was perfect for our stay offering luxurious and comfortable accommodation and the breakfast on offer was superb. We booked the hotel as it was suggested it was an adults only place. The location is perfect for being close to the village centre and a great base for visiting surrounding areas. Cannot recommend enough and will be definitely visiting again. ”

Rent og trivelig rom, men badet var lite og trangt. Ankomsten til rommet kan være utfordrende for enkelte på grunn av lange og bratte trapper. ”

”Fantastic 3 night stay at this b&b. 15 mins walk into bowness and same the other way to Windermere so perfect for restaurants and bars . We stopped in the suite with its own lounge and patio with hot tub which was fantastic , but you would need to book well in advance for this as it’s not always available . Everything was spot on for our stay , breakfast in the morning consisted of fruit and yogurt , cereals, all different jams and spreads , and full English breakfast and other things...

”What more could you ask for than a property where the supermarket (and many eateries) are around the corner and the bus stop is opposite the front door. Rayrigg is perfectly located, with a bus every 20 mins to take you to the railway station (about a 10 minute walk) or to other towns in the District. Just note, if you are challenged by directions, Lake Windermere is in an area called Bowness, and about a 45 minute walk to Ellerthwaite Square. I had the top room, so plenty of stairs to climb,...
